To get a tough spot clean use the corner of the tool to apply more pressure on the dirty area.

We use well water for irrigation, Sulpher and other nasties in water which blows on windows. Have found nothing (Vinegar/Amonia/regular window cleaner products)which will get rid of the above white crusted spots. Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your assistance,

About the only way to get that type of corrosion off is to use steel wool. The finest one you can find. You can try it dry at first and you can pass over it again with plain water. That should resolve the problem.

I also find the steel wool method works well. Anything else just does not compare. As mentioned. It’s probably best to get a really good quality one as the cheaper ones don’t really work as well!

Just make sure that your steel wool isn’t rusted as it can slightly etch the protective coating on the glass. Always use a new piece of steel wool each day.
